Overseas Experience TrainingMahurangi Technical Institute's Overseas Experience Training offers you excellent training and qualifications required to work internationally. The OE (Overseas Experience) course includes the Standards of Training Certification & Watchkeeping for Seafarer's (STCW95) Basic Training. (This is a minimum prerequisite for crew working on MCA registered vessels - see STCW page). PLUS the CBES/RYA Power Boat Level 2 certificate (basic boat handling and seamanship skills - ideal training for driving the vessel's tenders). PLUS the Maritime Restricted Operator's Certificate (MROC) (a basic licence enabling you to operate a marine radio including voice procedure and distress calling).
